Safety Week-Halloween and Guy Fawkes

With Halloween just finished and Guy Fawkes coming up all the senior classes have been getting refresher lessons on safety.

It's important we make sure we don't put ourselves in harmful situations and look after each other.
Enjoy your week everybody.

How to stay afloat-By Pallas

Everyone likes swimming right? Well If you are a beginner and you don't know how to swim I have all the tips and advice to keep you safe.

First of all this isn't just advice for the swimming pools. Its basically for anywhere you go that involves water. The Beach, swimming pool, lakes, rivers…...Anywhere.

So lets start. First of all lay on your back and keep your tummy and head up high. Then once you get the hang of that start kicking at your own pace. If you get that right you can add some style. Start doing some backward arm strokes in the water .I guess now you're a pro so keep practicing. I'd rather float than drown and so should you.
